For years, Pontresina has been known as one of Switzerland's strongholds of the game of curling. The wonderfully situated Roseg natural-ice field with its 10 to 12 neatly kept rinks is any curler's delight. Club-owned sets on all rinks.
Cross-Country Skiing
A 210 km network of trails stretches across the Upper Engadine and the valleys that branch off from it. There will always be just the right trail for you, no matter whether you are practicing on the Engadine-marathon route, testing your limits on the racing trails, or adding a night-time session on the illuminated tracks. A detailed map of the Upper Engadine trails is available from tourist offices and cross-country skiing centres.

Alpine Skiing
Any skier will encounter perfect conditions on the Engadine's neatly prepared pistes. The Diavolezza, Piz Lagalb, Languard, Corvatsch/ Furtschellas and Corviglia/Marguns regions offer great variety and the ultimate skiing experience on 350km of pistes!

Freeriding
Escape daily routine high above the fog line…
From December to April, the Pontresina Mountain Climbers' School offers daily guided freeriding tours through unique landscape. There is also a variety of high-altitude freeriding tours for various categories of skills.

Snowboarding
The Engadine region offers fantastic conditions for snowboarders: excellently prepared pistes, freeride areas, the permanent halfpipe, the snowboarding park, and the bordercross piste leave nothing to be desired from November to May.
From Monday to Friday, expert snowboarding instructors, who speak several languages, provide a variety of lessons in different categories of skills. Private lessons available daily.
Tobogganing Muottas Muragl Toboggan Run
The 4.2km toboggan run from Muottas Muragl to Punt Muragl is a great attraction and a lot of fun.
