Two new garden rooms

The spacious rooms lead directly into the hotel garden and have their own – whirlpool, ideal for families .

The Hotel Albris has expanded and has been able to offer its guests two new rooms since summer 2018. These are located on the south side of the house on the ground floor. This means that the two spacious rooms have direct access to the hotel garden and share a terrace area. An open-air- hot tub, exclusively for guests in the two garden rooms, enhances the shared terrace. This is not just for children and romantics a highlight, but for everyone who wants to relax after an eventful day.

Natural stone and larch wood
"The garden rooms are ideal for families with two small children or for guests who appreciate a lot of space," says hotel manager Claudio Kochendörfer. The rooms offer four beds: a twin bed for the parents and a fold-out wall bed for the children a sofa that turns into a comfortable bed for the night in no time. In order to have some privacy, the two areas can be separated with a curtain and the television is equipped with headphones.

The garden rooms have large cupboards and a lot of floor space in the cloakroom area so that families have enough space to stow all their luggage and a stroller. With two sinks and a spacious shower, the bathroom also offers a lot of space. “What I particularly like is the natural look Gartenzimmer. The wet area is made of natural stone and the living area is made of larch wood from the Engadine, "says Claudio Kochendörfer. connected, thanks to the expansion that we already carried out in spring 2017. »That means: With the new lift, guests can go directly to the wellness area or the Arvensaal and via the light corridor to the reception and further into the village Rooms and 72 beds.

Fragrant pine beds
A renovation program is also underway in the traditional Swiss stone pine rooms in the main building. The top floor was given a refresh in autumn 2018: wonderfully scented pine beds and new lighting. Claudio Kochendörder explains: “We didn't just put a new bed in, but built in a sophisticated sleeping system with bed, wall area and bedside table. The two single beds are on rails and can therefore be effortlessly put together- or pushed apart. »This is not only practical for guests, but also for the cleaning team.

The other floors will be renewed in the coming years. As always when the Kochendörfers renovate, local handicraft businesses do the work, with local materials, a lot of expertise and joy.
