Winter hiking

Cross-country skiing
A 210 km network of trails stretches across the Upper Engadine and the side valleys. You can practice on the Engadine marathon trail, test your performance limit on the racing trails, or add a night-time session on the illuminated tracks. A detailed map of the Upper Engadine trails is available from tourist offices and cross-country skiing centres.
Alpine skiing
Any skier will encounter perfect conditions on the perfectly prepared slopes of the Engadine. The Diavolezza, Piz Lagalb, Languard, Corvatsch/Furtschellas and Corviglia/Marguns areas offer great variety and the ultimate skiing experience on 350 km of ski runs!

Escape daily routine high above the fog line … From December to mid-April, the Pontresina mountaineering school and Go Vertical offer daily guided skiing tours through unique scenery. There are also a variety of high-altitude skiing tours for various categories of skills.
