The Albris Hotel has always presented itself as an informal yet personal place to stay. The establishment has been owned by the Kochendörfer family from the moment it opened its doors, with four generations having taken care of guests and local clientele with their special geniality and passion.
The hotel boasts 36 high quality rooms, with plenty of local wooden furnishings from the Engadine forests. The Mediterranean cuisine includes meat and fish specialities that have been awarded a Golden Fish. The Kochendörfer family history harks back about 120 years to their bakery in Pontresina.
Even today, the bakery still forms the core of the establishment, producing 40 different kinds of bread every day. The first to benefit are the hotel guests, as they approach the plentiful breakfast buffet, set out every morning. Other specialities include the original Engadine Cake and the recently created Ibex Cake.
